Inspired by the famous symbol that signifies perfection, light and life, I intended this soap not only to look exquisite, but deliver an experience of grace and self-honouring. In line with the origin of the “flower of the lily”, the soap had to have a French component to it. Luckily, French pink clay is extremely useful for drawing toxins and dirt from the skin and gives each bar a smooth finish. The essential oils of white camphor and orange are renowned for reviving dull and oily complexions and, in the ratios used, they create a very pleasant subtle fragrance that relieves nervous tension and improves the mood. If my Mum (her name is, coincidentally, Lilya) who is rather picky about what she uses on her gorgeous skin, is in love with this soap, you’re going to be too!
